MASHHAD, Iran, — Thirty five people who had been detained in Wakilabad prison of Mashhad were secretly mass executed on last Wednesday while another one was executed today in Esfahan.
According to a report of Human Rights and Democracy in Iran thirty five people, who were held in ward number 101, were mass executed on Wednesday 7 November.
Among the executed were four Afghan citizens. Nothing about the charges held against them has been reported yet.
In the meantime another one who was charged on the ground of drug-trading was executed today in Esfahan central prison.
These cases of hangings bring the execution toll of 2012 for Iran to 523 people.
