KARAJ, Iran, — Zaniyar Muradi a Kurdish political prisoner held in Rajaeeshahr prison was gain tortured by the prison officials, his father said in a phone conversation with Newroz TV, adding that his life is at risk.
Zaniyar Muradi and Luqman Muradi detained in Rajaeeshahr prison in Karaj city have been subjected to tortures and degradations during the last three years.
In a phone conversation with Kurdish satellite channel, Newroz TV, Iqbal Muradi father of Zaniyar said that his son is now denied of family visit and once again has been subjected to severe tortures causing him physical problems to the extent he is not able to stand up or seat.
Although the medical clinic in the prison has stressed that Mr. Muradi is in urgent needs of medical service, the prison officials have failed to take him out of his cell to receive required medical treatments.
Zaniyar and Luqman Muradi were both arrested on September 2009. After 9 months of tortures and persecutions they were sentenced to death on the charge of “enmity with God”.
