PJAK: Failure of international conspiracy; the beginning of Kurdish freedom spring

NEWSDESK, — In the 14 anniversary of the international conspiracy against the Kurdish people, the coordination of Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) released a statement condemning such a stratagem.

The initiation of the conspiracy and its continuation; reads the statement, was an effort to capitulate the free willpower which was able to create existence out of non-existence and replace the capitulation with determination and motivation.

Not only the stratagem of Imrali was crushed, the statement continues, but the historic resistance of Leader Apo [Abdullah Ocalan] led to creation of Zap Resistance, the Epic of Qendil as well as the independence of our people in West Kurdistan and the revolutionary phase in North Kurdistan.

The statement maintained that 14 years ago the international powers sought to either capitulate or crush the willpower of the Kurdish people amid a conspiracy directed against the Kurdish national leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Amid years of oppression, the statement continues, they also sought to liquidate the Kurdish struggle, but with the leadership of leader Apo, the Kurds won their own resolution and determination under the shadow of which they have managed to stand up for their identity and themselves. Kurds have reached a stage that can play their roles in the regional changes, it added.

After 14 years from the initiation of the conspiracy, outlined the statement, it is clear now that not only they had failed in brining about their goals, but the Kurds have more than ever promoted an independent politics which is reflected in what they have achieved in the region now.

PJAK also noted in the statement that without taking the free willpower of the Kurdish people there is no possibility of radical changes in the region.

It became clear, the statement maintained, the Kurdish issue is not only an affair between the occupying powers of Kurdistan. It is a regional and an international issue.

At the end of the statement PJAK states that without taking Leader Apo as the main source for the solution of the Kurdish issue not only the changes would not come about, their possibilities would also seem remote and deepening of the problems.

The changes in the region are entirely linked to the condition of Leader Apo in Imrali prison, and lack of solution to the Kurdish issue would only deteriorate the current regional crisis, the statement ended.
