BANE, — Another kolber was shot dead on the borders of Bane city by direct shooting of Security Forces, report said.
Kolbers are those Kurdish workers ferrying goods on their backs across the pseudo-borders of Kurdistan to make the living.
According for Firat News Agency ANF, Emir Ehmedi 30 years old, was shot on Hengejal village of Bane city by Iranian Security Forces and killed on the spot.
21 head of horses are also said to have been killed amid the barrage of shooting.
It should be noted that few days ago another Kurdish worker named as Hejar Nebi Puriyan from Mehabad was killed by the Security Forces.
30 kolbers killed in 2012
According to figures published by ANF, 30 kolbers have been killed in 2012. These killings have all taken place on the pseudo-borders of North-East and South-East of Kurdistan.
114 kolbers killed in 2011
In the first 9 months of 2012 more than 80 kolbers were killed by both Turkish soldiers and the IRGC (Iranian Revolution Guard Corps), while 60 more were wounded.
In the following 3 months, the IRGC had killed 28 kolbers. Turkish warplanes massacred 34 Kurdish kolbers in Roboski village. Altogether 114 kolbers were killed in 2011.
68 kolber were killed in 2010
According to ANF figures 68 kolbers had been killed on the Turkey and Iranian borders and dozens more had been wounded or disabled. Furthermore 90 kolbers had been killed in 2009.
