SERDESHT, — The Iranian Security Forces once again opened fires on Kurdish kolbers in Serdesht neighbouring killing one and wounding two others.
Kolbers are those workers who ferry goods across the borders, often on the backs, to make living for their families (the photo).
According to Firat News Agency the Iranian Security Forces opened fires on a group of Kurdish kolbers in a place known as Bolfet in Serdesht neighbouring.
Consequently, Mehmud Ibrahim a resident of Diwelan village was killed by the direct shot of the Security Forces, and Ebdulla Salihzade and Salih Salihzade were wounded, the source said.
Lack of government’s planning in Kurdistan which has caused widespread unemployment, has driven thousands of Kurdish youth toiling on the pseudo-borders of Kurdistan.
Iranian Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) as well as Iranian Security Forces have proved callous in their ambushing and killing of dozens of kolbers and wounding or handicapping of hundreds each year.
