NEWSDESK, — Two Kurdish political prisoners held in Qurwe and Karaj city prisons launched hunger strike to protest against the escalating pressure on the prisoners of conscious.
To protest against the relentless pressure on the Kurdish political prisoners two political prisoners in Qurwe and Karaj staged a hunger strike.
A source close to the family of Heyrder Rashidyan who has been transferred to a solitary confinement in Qurwe prison stated that Heyder’s health condition has been deteriorated and his family is not given permission to visit him.
Heyder Rashidiyan had also launched a hunger strike last year for duration of 20 days which he ended when he was promised by the prison officials to meet his demands. But him demands have not been met after one year.
Another political prisoner named Mehemmed Nezeri held in the same prison launched a hunger strike in protest to his pending case while he has been held for the last 20 years.
