NEWSDESK, — The president of Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) Murad Karayilan invited Turkish Premier to Şemzinan province specifically to Konserva Hill where he took a photo in 2010. “If you can, go to Konserva Hill and take photo once again,” said Karayilan.
In an interview with Firat News Agency the president of KCK pointed to the recent development made by the guerrillas of HPG (People’s Defence Forces) extending areas under control. Heavy clashes have been going on from Şemzinan to Dersim, he said.
Kurdish guerrillas have taken control of the major part of Şemzinan province and have set up checkpoints on the roads and erected their flags on the highlands. Konserva Hill is one of the strategic points seized by the Kurdish guerrillas.
Pointing to Erdogan’s trip to Şemzinan and Konserva Hill in 2010 in an attempt to strengthen morale of Turkish disheartened army, Karayilan invited Erdogan to the same place taking photo again.
“I tell Erdogan if you dare come and visit Konserva Hill once again,” said Karayilan and continued, “If he can stand on the same Hill once again, I shall apologise for my statement and confirm that Erdogan is right.”
