MEHABAD, — Twenty Kurdish men were arrested and sentenced to an overall of 67 years incarceration.
According to Mukrian News agency, 20 citizens from the city of Mehabad in East of Kurdistan, who were arrested last year, were sentenced to 67 years imprisonment.
The court has not still confirmed the penalty of the accused prisoners; however, some believe that they were arrested with the charges of threatening the security of the country.
Names of the prisoners are as follows:
Osman Meolan’nijad to 10 years imprisonment
Eli Meolan ‘nijaad,
Ismaiil Hemzepur,
Nasir Teriq and Chia Meolan’nijad each to 5 years prison
Mohemed Emin Qadirzade,
Selim Chirag Mnan,
Luqman Saleki,
Kawe Saleki, and Selim Rehimzade, each to 4 years incarceration
Osman Qadirnijad, Eli Birna, each to 3 years prison
Mohemed Izeddost, and Enwer Izeddost, each to 2 years
Zaniar Qadirzade,
Nasir Bihcety and Simko Osmani each to 1 year and a half imprisonment
Mohemed Ibrahimzade and Qasim Rehimi, each to 1 year
Murad Hesenzade to 6 months
In conjunction to this, there is no information available regarding the situation of 2 prisoners Ebid Zari’ii and Eli Tase who were arrested in the city of Meriwan about 2 weeks ago. This has faced their families with extreme worries.
