130 mules bullet-riddled by IRGC

kasbkarNEWSDESK, — 130 mules and horses used by Kurdish kolbers, who carry goods on their back through the borders, were bullet riddled and killed by Iranian Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) in one day.

Kurdish people who are living beside the artificial borders of Kurdistan are normally earning through smuggling goods such as sugar, tea and some other goods using mules. This is due to high unemployment that people struggle with in Kurdistan. This has made not only the lives of smugglers but also the lives of animals have been put at a significant risk.

Firat News Agency revealed that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) opened fire on 50 horses of the kolbers around the city of Shino and 20 more in another part of this city. At the same time 60 more horses were killed by the IRGC around the city of Urmiye.
