NEWSDESK, — The Iranian Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) had been amassing troops on the pseudo-borders of South-East Kurdistan gearing up for military operation.
According to the pro-state media outlet, IRGC has launched an operation today across the northern side of East Kurdistan. The military operation is named as “ground forces manoeuvre”.
The initiation of such an operation in the mountain terrains of Kurdistan in the first anniversary of IRGC assault on Qendil Mountains has raised doubts.
The operation is said to last for five days and is allegedly intended to signal peace message to the neighbouring countries. The operations would be supported by the air-forces for three days.
