TEHRAN, Iran, — The interned founder of Kurdistan Human Rights Organisation (RMMK) has reached 27th day of his hunger strike and announced he will not end it until his demand is met.
Mohammad Sediq Kebudwend, the leader and the founder of RMMK was visited yesterday by his family to whom he told he will continue his hunger strike.
Mr Kebudwend is reaching his 27th day of hunger strike today and his health condition is reported serious while suffered a considerable weigh lost.
Requests from his family as well as human rights organisations have been made to Mr. Kebudwend to bring his hunger strike to and end, but he is determined to continue. “I will not end the hunger strike even if it reaches 100 day,” Mr Kebudwend was reported as saying.
The founder of RMMK is nearing his 6th year of internment, during which he has not been given a single day off prison to spend with his family.
He launched the hunger strike to gain permission to visit his ill child, a demand that has been turned down so far and he is determined to continue on until his demand is met.
