BAHDINAN, — In a statement on guerrilla attacks on military bases in Oramar and Colemerg (Hakkari) launched on 19 June morning, the People’s Defense Forces Press Office (HPG-BIM) reported that at least 109 soldiers killed and 100 others were wounded.HPG-BIM stated that four skorsky helicopters were shot down and nine others were damaged in clashes supported by war planes, cobra helicopters and howitzers.
HPG-BIM also claimed that 15 guerrillas lost their lives, whose names will be declared soon.
In yesterday’s and today’s statements on guerrilla attacks and the operation in the area, Turkish authorities claimed that six soldiers were killed and 19 were wounded while over 20 guerrillas died since the beginning of clashes yesterday.
