SELMAS, East Kurdistan, — A Kurdish girl who was arrested in February and has been subjected to torture since then, was sentenced to 15 years imprison.
Safiye Sadeqi 23 years old from Selmas was arrested in February 2012 while she was staying in Sine (Sanandaj) city and detained in Intelligence Service where she has been tortured and ill-treated.
After four months of detention and torture in a solitary confinement she was tried in a show trial without having a lawyer and sentenced to 15 years on the charge of acting against the Islamic Republic.
It should be noted that this prisoner of conscious is now held incommunicado in Sine Intelligence Service and is denied to be transferred to prison in his home city of Selmas.
