KARAJ, Iran, — A Kurdish political prisoner held in Rajaeeshr prison of Kraj city was taken to hospital due to kidney suffering.
Mohamed Mehdi Zaliye who has been jailed for the last 18 years in Urmiye and Karaj cities, was taken from compartment 12 of Rajeeshari prison to the hospital of this prison, HRA—human rights portal confirmed.
Mohamed Mehdi Zaliye is reported to be one of the victims of the chemical bombardments during Iran—Iraq war and he has numerously requested prison official for the required medical treatments.
