SINE, — A Kurdish detainee held in Sine (Sanandaj) prison who was suffering from serious health problems for the last six month died yesterday.
Saman Emini died of his numerous heath problems including severe neck disease, confirmed his fellow detainees in an interview with Mukrian News Agency.
This is not the first time ill prisoners lose their lives due to lack of medical treatments and required attentions. According to the Act 118 of Prison Regulations of Iran, this is the government’s obligation to treat the medical problems of prisoners.
