HEWRAMAN, East Kurdistan, — The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) clashed with HRK guerrillas last night in Nodshe region of Hewraman.
HRK is the armed-wing of Kurdistan’s Free Life Party (PJAK) struggling against the regional colonialism exploiting the Kurdish people in East Kurdistan and Iran.
According to our local correspondents at least three Guards were killed and four wounded in the clash. The bodies of the dead and injured were transferred to Pawe city hospital.
The Iranian official website ISNA has confirmed the clash claiming four Guards were killed and four wounded.
Following the clash the Islamic Revolution Guards embarked on series of military operations in Hewraman and Pawe. The area of Dola Kokê, in Qendil was also shelled for five hours.
The HRK has not yet declared an official statement in relation to the clash.
The clash however erupted after the visit of Turkish Prime Minster to Teheran, and after that PJAK warned that the execution of political prisoners by the Iranian regime is its red line constituting a reason to break the ceasefire.
