NEWSDESK, — Mesud Shems-nijad the lawyer of Hebibulla Gulperipur, the Kurdish political prisoner on death row, said he managed to get in touch with his client through a phone call.
Mr Shems-nijad said he still don’t know as to why his client has been transferred to Siman city prison; is it for the execution of his death penalty or might be due to security reasons.
Shems-nijad assumed that his client’s transfer to Siman prison was due to security reasons.
In regard to Sherko Mearifi, another Kurdish political detainee on death row, his lawyer Seid Shexi said on yesterday he has been given any response and his client could be executed at any moment.
