South Kurdistan under construction

HewlerHEWLER, — Southern Kurdistan has been rebuilt since 1992, from a war zone to a wealthy region in Iraq which welcomes foreign workers and business men to invest and live.

Foreign companies since 2005 have registered in Hewler as international enterprises mainly Turkish companies.

According to company registration directorate, there are 1860 foreign companies operating in South Kurdistan, 750 of them are Turkish the second largest is Korean companies.
