QENDIL, — In 65 anniversary of the execution of Qazi Mohammed and his comrades the coordination of Kurdistan’s Free Life Party (PJAK) released a statement expressing their condolences as well as their readiness to continue Qazi Mohammed’s path.
“65 years have been passed since the tragedy of the execution of Qazi Muhammad and his comrades. In the anniversary of the martyrdom of Leader Qazi and his comrades we express our condolences to all the Kurdistanian people,” the statement said.
Pointing to the importance of the establishment of the Republic in 1946 the statement outlined,”Kurdish struggle led by Qazi Muhammad and the establishment of the Republic, which followed by the colonial efforts of the Iranian regime to crush such a historic achievement of our people resulting in the execution of Leader Qazi and his comrades, are events merit close analysis and of historical significance.”
In regard to the unity of the Kurdish people and their political parties the statement continues; “Although the Kurds were unified at the initial stage – and it was one of the important factors in the establishment of the Republic – the discontinuation of the unity among the Kurdish forces and also the lack of coherence within the Kurdish society had decisive role in the collapse of such an achievement.”
“In the anniversary of the martyrdom of such a heroic leader and in a context that national unity is demanded,” PJAK statement adds on, “in order to have gratitude and response to such a dedication and sacrifice, this is the national duty of all segments of our society to relay on their own dynamics and to establish national unity.”
At the end of the statement PJAK remarks, “We as the Kurdistan’s Free Life Party (PJAK) once again remember these heroic martyrs and express our attachment to their line of sacrifices and dedication. Once again we display our readiness to put any dedication to serve the Kurdish people and enhance national unity.”
