MERIWAN, — Kurdish students in Meriwan city have released a statement in regard to the forthcoming parliamentary elections in Iran, remaking they will boycott it.
The students from the University of Peyam Nur of Meriwan stated that the elections in Iran are scenarios and Kurdish people, in particular Kurdish students won’t be deceived.
They added that the Iranian authorities are trying to draw people to vote to candidates from the respectable people. But none of these tricks are useful in Kurdistan as people in Meriwan in general have already decided to boycott the elections.
Kurdish people are seeing these scenarios of the Islamic Regime of Iran for the last 33 years and at present time are not deceived by such tactics, the statement says adding; the people will show they are united by refusing to go to voting places.
