HAMBURG, Germany, — Professor Antonio Negri said in his message sent to “Challenging Capitalist Modernity: Alternative Concepts and the Kurdish Quest Conference” held in Hamburg that “This conference is another answer to those who would like to silence you,” Negri added.
He also stated in his message that the Kurdish struggle was a struggle on different levels for a different society built on a model of governance that would challenge capitalism.
Negri also said the hopes that the elections in June 2011 gave rise to “have been crushed in blood” by thousands of Kurdish people’s arrests.
