URMIYE, East Kurdistan, — Eli Efshari a Kurdish political prisoner is reported to be at a life-threatening condition due to his severe injuries.
According to local correspondents Mr Efshari was taken back to the Urmiye’s prison without being seen by doctor while he was transferred to outside prison for his ostensible treatment.
It is reported that Mr Efshari had been under extreme torture by the Iranian prison officers for some period of time.
The prisoner’s family have sated that his life is at imminent risk as he is bleeding internally. They request for help from all human right organisations.
Mr Efshari was sentenced to death by the Iranian Revolutionary Court and has been held in Urmiye’s prison.
