URFA, — The spate of arrest of Kurdish political activists has taken a threatening pace in Turkey. At least fifteen people were taken into custody this morning in Urfa.
Police was reported to have carried out a number of raids at several premises. Among the people detained is SES (Health Workers Union) president Ismet Karadagi.
It is reported that the raid was carried out in the contest of so called KCK (Kurdish Communities Union) operation.
