EAST KURDISTAN, — A Kurdish university lecturer named Dr Ali Brokimilan was sacked by the Iranian authorities, Koordpa news agency reported.
Mr Brokimilan was a lecturer, teaching Economics at the University of Hemedan. He was dismissed as result of his surname.
Mr Brokimilan was warned by the Islamic Security to change his surname; otherwise he would lose his job. He had rejected this and was therefore fired from his job.
