IRAN, — Lale Park Mothers announced a statement with reference to 25th November, the day against violence against women.
In their statement they declared that 25th November will be the day of defending female political and religious prisoners.
They added that half of Iranian population are women but still are not seen as human beings and subjected to stoning, killing and many other types of oppression such as early marriages, rape in and outside the prisons, women trafficking, inequality in paid jobs, and also polygamy.
At the end of the statement Lale Park Mothers remarked they are the supporters of all brave and active women both in and outside of Iran and condemn any kind of violence against women. They were demanding the release of all political and religious women from prison.
