KIRMASHAN, East of Kurdistan, – Seven cultural activists were arrested by the security guards in the city of Gilan gerb, located in Kirmashan county, International Human Right Campaign in Iran reported.
Sehad Cehanferd, Ezedin Heideri, Mazyar Mohemmedi, And Meryem Emini (female activist) were subjected to one year imprisonment with the charge of acting against the security of the country.
Also, Ferhad Wekili Nia was sentenced to 3 years detention, Cemal Xani to 2 years and Neim Necefi (female activist) to 4 years of incarceration.
Their sentence is confirmed by the first department of the Iranian Revolutionary Court. Their charges is attempting against the security of the country by supporting one of the Kurdish opposition parties.
