Reuters faces ‘ban’ for its refusal to call PKK as “terrorist”

NEWDESK, — The British News Agency Reuters is facing a ‘ban’ by Turkish banks and other financial institutions, for not referring to Kurdistan Worker Party (PKK) as “terrorist”.

According to ANF the institutions said on yesterday that they will not share commentary, or give statements or interviews with the agency to protest against its refusal to call the PKK guerrillas as “terrorists”.

The British News Agency Reuters has made it crystal clear that it never uses the word “terrorist” for any group. The PKK guerrillas are “rebels” for the reporters of the international agency as all the other armed groups.
