DEHLURAN, Iran,– land mines are another peril factor that cost lives of many people and situated them to a hard condition all over the country especially in the Kurdish areas.
A farmer named Rbaz Nesrullahi was seriously wounded by land mine around Dehluran city in the region of Abu Flu. The land mine was blow up when Mr Rbaz aimed to defuse it.
Every year many people lose their lives or lose one part of their bodies by the land mines. The lands were buried in mines around 20-30 years ago during the Iran and previous Iraqi regime war.
The civil people living on the borders of the country are victimized as their lands and farms are full of mine. However, this area has not been in the consideration of the government although more than 2 decades has passed from the war.
