MAKO, East Kurdistan, — Capture, imprisonment, execution and torture of Kurds by the Iranian authorities have become a daily routine, every day people are arrested and receive undeserved sentences.
During the last few days 12 people were arrested in Mako, a city in East of Kurdistan, and sentenced to 107 years of imprisonment.
These people are arrested with the accusation of working with one of the Kurdish political parties, as being a Kurd and working for your nation is an offence in the Iranian law.
The names of the prisoners are as follows:
Saeed Omerpour sentenced to 2 years imprisonment,
Abdulla Omerpour to 12 years
And Mohemmed Omerpour to 15 years.
(These three people are the members of a family in Zelke Village around Mako) Hassan Chillan and Ali Chillan both to 15 years each from Zelke village in Mako Saeed Ahour to 15 years
Haci Cengo from Mexd village in Mako to 2 years
Rostem Erkia from Yolageldi Village to 10 years
Ferman and Mohemmed Efgan both from Yolegeldi village 1 year each
Resul Asef from Alihac village to 4 years
Ardeshir Delaee Milan from Kendal village to 15 years
