NEWSDESK, — Despite the unilateral ceasefire declared by Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK) Iran amassed troops on the borders gearing up for new waves of offensives.
According to our local correspondents the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) are sending more troops from the Serdesht and Piranshar cities to the districts of Mirawe and Kileshin.
In the meantime the IRGC is sending more troops from Shino to the areas of Keleshin.
Military checkpoints are also set on the roads to the cities of Kirmashan, Pawe, Sine, Bokan, and Shino.
It is reported that IRGC are sending the Kurdish conscripts at the forefront to reduce the casualty of non-Kurd conscripts. Hundreds of Kurdish conscripts deserted their ranks once they learned of the plot.
Political analysts believe by building up troops on the borders, Iran is preparing for new waves of offensives against the guerrillas of PJAK, while the party declared a ceasefire on 5 September.
