PJAK calls on Iran to stop operation

QENDIL, — In a written statement the Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK) says that it is ready to announce a ceasefire if Iran stop the ongoing military operation.

Underlining that violence never produced any solution in the Kurdish question, PJAK has called on Iran to stop the current military operation.

PJAK said that should Iran agree to stop the current operation, they would declare a new truce in order to allow all parties to search for a solution
through dialogue.

The statement adds that should Iran decide to continue with the operation then it would bear full responsibility for the consequences of their choice.

The statement also adds that in this last period there has been some kind of mediator (the statement does not clarify the nature of this mediator) between the two parts. The last message to the mediator from PJAK has been one of offering a truce should Iran stop the current aggression.
