SOUTH KURDISTAN, — To condemn the Iranian and Turkish invasion of Kurdistan and their barbaric offensives, the Kurdish people in Raniye, Qeladize, Chwarqurne, Serchawe, and Haciyawe launched a general strike and refused to open their shops.
With the initiative of the Association for the Kurdish People’s Demands in which it formally called upon the Kurds to launch a strike, people in Raniye and the neighbouring areas completely closed their shops to protest against the ongoing bombardments of Kurdish villages which has killed 10 civilians including pregnant woman and children.
