QENDIL, Defence Regions of Medya, — Sherzad Kemangir a member of PJAK’s coordination evaluated the current Iranian invasion of South Kurdistan.
Mr Kemangir stated that the current invasion is aimed at generating antagonism among the Kurdish people and he warned the regime’s collaborators with strong words.
Member of PJAK’s coordination evaluated the regime’s goals of current aggression in an interview with ANF. “The Iranian regime has from its onset in 1979 pursued the policies of eradicating the Kurds”, he said.
“The Iranian regime is pursuing vicious policies toward the Kurdish resistance movement in East Kurdistan led by PJAK. But the resistance of the Kurdish guerrillas led into a stage, where now even the masses stand up against such offensives. Although there are bunches of collaborators and mercenaries but in general the people are against such phenomenon. Owing to this, regime had to bring forces from the provinces of Qom, Yasuj, Mashhad, and Tehran to wage its offensives starting from 16 July” Kemangir continued.
PJAK’s coordination member added that the regime has realised now that it would not triumph in war, for this reason, they now seek to sow the seeds of antagonism among the Kurds particularly in the schools and the mosques. “In such a stage, Iran has generated opportunities for some families, but now every one is well aware of such policies and have all been neutralised. Iran can not deceive some people by providing them with certain benefits and privileges, nor can they set the Kurds against one another any more. Such policies of provoking antagonism and hostility among the Kurds were widely applied in the regions of Hewraman and Meriwan, but they have all been neutralised and rendered infective,” added Kemangir.
Mr Kemangir pointed out that there are still some collaborators in East Kurdistan; some of them have been actively participating in the operations against PJAK. “Previously the regime had utilised some people in this service but then they abandoned them, now these people are ashamed of going even among their locals. In the current offensives, Iran sought to make use of these people who have been abandoned by their families; they put these collaborators in the forefront of their forces while they attack our guerrillas. They set them against the Kurdish forces. By doing this regime sought to sow the seeds of hatred among the Kurds but they failed; because some of the collaborators did not want to fight against the Kurdish guerrillas. Regime sought to bring Kurdish youths setting them against Kurdish guerrillas but they failed.” Kemangir continued.
He also called upon the Kurdish youths to be conscious and not to let the regime to utilize them in their war against the Kurdish guerrillas. He warned of those who collaborate with regime and said those who be at the service of the regime will be trialled in the courts of guerrillas and the people.
Kemangir also called upon the Kurdish people to raise objection against the collaborators and urged the Kurdish families not to let the regime to make use of their children in the anti-Kurdish war.
