CALDIRAN, — Turkish soldiers killed 1 villager and wounded 2 others in Caldiran, a district of Van province. Soon after the killing an explosion seriously wounded a Kurdish teenager, locals reported.
Witnesses said three villagers were shot by Turkish soldiers in Soguksu village killing 1 and wounding two others. DIHA reported the identity of the victim as 25 year old Ercan Uca.
Uca’s body was taken to Van city morgue while two wounded are transferred to the city’s university hospital.
Soon after this incident an explosion in Soguksu village seriously wounded an 18 year old. The source of the explosion still remains unknown.
The victim was named as Emrah Damcin, a villager. Some witnesses told Turkish media that the explosion caused by a mine.
