SOUTH KURDISTAN, — According to the latest report from our local sources 108 Iranian Revolution Guards were killed by the Kurdish guerrillas of HRK (East Kurdistan Force).
HRK is the armed wing of the Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK) which resists the Iranian oppression of the Kurds.
The Iranian Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) crossed the borders of the autonomous region of South Kurdistan on Saturday in a bit to liquidate the Kurdish liberation movement but it cost them too much.
Heavy fighting continued trough Sunday and 108 Iranian Revolution Guards were killed only in 24 hours.
The clashes were fiercer in Katumani, where 40 Revolution Guards are said to have been killed and in Berdenaze, where 15 Revolution Guards were killed, said a spokesman for PJAK.
The other 53 Revolution Guards were killed over the night from Saturday to Sunday in Sardasht, a border town in East Kurdistan, and Dola Koke, in the region of Qendil.
The armed wing of the Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK) claims to have lost seven guerrillas in the clashes.
Iran also has transferred dozens of wounded Revolution Guards to hospitals in Sine province, in Piranshar and Urmiye, according to local sources.
Sunday afternoon, HRK forces launched an attack against Iranian troops in the area of Deshta Wezne in Qendil. At the time of writing this report, the number of losses suffered in the last attack by the Iranian army is not known.
It is claimed that the army began to retreat to 15.30 against the resistance of the Kurdish guerrillas, but for the HRK, the military picks up his troops to launch a new attack.
IRAN DOES NOT DISCLOSE ITS LOSSES
The Iranian regime routinely hides its heavy losses and deprives its citizen’s free access to information. Indeed it has made no statement on the true nature of the events happening in the country. Not a day go by without violation of human rights in everyday life, such as torture, unfair arrests, executions extrajudicial hangings, state violence against women.
On the other hand the government in Baghdad, the Kurdish authorities and the international community still keep silent about the violation of Iraqi border by the Iranian military.
