NORTH KURDISTAN, — Three people in Pantos/Agri and six people in Sirnak were taken into custody by Turkish police, while two people have been remanded in custody in Bingol.
Bilgin Halac, Fesih Yıldız and Ismail Tasdemir were taken into custody by police in Patnos district of Agri for allegedly throwing stones ar police during the events and conflicts breaking out after the press statement made for 10 HPG (People’s Defence Forces) who had lost their lives in a clash with the army in the rural areas of Uludere/Sirnak.
SIX DETENTIONS IN SIRNAK
While BDP Sirnak central district chair Sıdık Kütler and Omer Coban, Arafat Güler, Nuri Cakar and Yusuf Ecer were taken into custody by police with the house-raids carried out this morning in Sirnak, Tekin Sadak from Silopi district was also detained with a house raid carried out by police and gendarmerie at the same hours.
TWO ARRESTS IN BINGOL
Among the tree people who were taken into custody four days ago in Bingol with house raids carried out by Turkish police and gendarmerie, Nursel Karasu was released following the proceedings at security office, while Tahir Bugur and Edip Kaynar were taken to Bingol Prosecution’s Office. Referred to court with an arrest demand after giving statements, Kaynar and Bugur were arrested and sent to Bingol M-Type Closed Prison for allegedly being “member of the organization”.
