SELMAS, — Alongside with Turkish military operations in North Kurdistan, Iranian army has also sustained its operations in East Kurdistan.
According to our correspondence the Iranian Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), launched a series of extensive operations in the district of Selmas on 13th June.
As a result of the operations, clashes broke out between the guerrillas of Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK) and the IRGC in the region of Shipiran.
It’s claimed that two Kurdish guerrillas lost their lives in the battle and their bodies were taken to unknown places.
PJAK has not made any statements in regard to combat.
