European observers tell impression of election in Turkey

EU, — The European Committee, which included a 150 people strong observer delegation from England, Italy, USA, Sweden, French, Germany and Denmark, has spoken about their observations and violations they witnessed during the election process in the region.

According to the Committee the election was in the shade of weapons in the eastern and south-eastern Turkey where women did not freely vote due to family suppression while generally Kurdish voters were under the state oppressions.

Some of the delegates emphasized that they felt as they were in the middle of a war when they have seen tanks, armoured vehicles and soldiers in the villages. They described some scene they have faced “scary.”

Some of the delegates felt the pressure because of being chased by security forces.
