Iraqi Military Forces prevent police entering Kirkuk city

kerkukKIRKURK, South Kurdistan, — Iraqi Military Forces prevented the police entering the city of Kirkuk maintaining law and order, report said today.

The Iraqi militaries are reported to be directly helping terrorist groups conducting their activities and destabilising the city.

Serhed Abdullah the head of the police forces in Kirkuk district said that they have been prevented by Iraqi army from doing their routines and maintaining the law and order the district.

“If they keep preventing us from entering the city to maintain the law and order, they will be responsible for any possible acts of terrorism,” Abdullah said.
