Excavation of another mass-grave in North Kurdistan

1233_2MUTKI, — The region of Mutki in Bedlis District is known as the locus of mass grave of Kurdish people. Another mass grave was found in Mutki yesterday, local report said.

The backyard of Turkish Security Forces (Jandarme) was excavated yesterday in Mutki, where it was believed to be a site of a mass grave of Kurdish guerrillas.

As a result of the excavation the remaining bodies of 6 Kurds were found.

It should be pointed out that the Turkish soldiers excavated the site without noting the prosecutors and have not let the human right activist to observe the excavation.

The eyes witness said that a Kurdish guerrilla known as “Alican Kizil Kaya” and 5 other Kurdish civilians, who were arrested and killed by the Turkish soldiers, were thrown to this mass grave in the backyard of the Jandarme.
