BITLIS, — Another mass grave of Kurdish guerrillas were found today in the garden of Gendarmerie Station in Mutki District of Bitlis.
Bones of 8 people who believed to be the bodies of Kurdish guerrillas were found today.
The excavations team started that the mass grave is the place where 36 PKK (Kurdistan Worker Party) members were buried by Turkish soldiers.
According to Firat News Agency, bones of 12 people, 9 being civilians were found in the previous excavations. Bones of 8 people more were found during excavations for two days in another point Mutki waste yard.
Forensic Medicine Specialists arrived at the scene where the bodies of six people were found side by side, two being covered with a blanket and other 4 in another blanket. The prosecution suspended the excavations for the experts to detect and take the bones from the scene.
