DUHOK, South Kurdistan, — The Turkish army launched a ranges of artillery attacks on the region of Duhok located at the South of Kurdistan (northern Iraq).
Speaking to Aknews News Agency, Commander of Duhok border troops Husen Xalid Tirwanishi said that the Turkish army dropped bombs on border areas of Duhok last evening.
Tirwanishi claimed that some areas of Nerew, Rekan and Amediye were targeted at the attacks.
According to Tirwanishi nobody lost his life during the attack but financial and moral damage were done to the local people.
