QENDIL, — The Democratic Confederation of Kurdistan (KCK), welcomed the postponement of the execution of Kurdish activist which was scheduled for Sunday 26th.
Habibullah Latifi, a Kurdish student and a political activist was set to be executed on Sunday. But the Iranian authority postponed the execution.
In a written statement released today KCK said that the execution of Kurdish activists would only deepen the current problems in Iran.
KCK claimed that only friendship between nations will solve the problems in the region.
KCK called on Iran to solve the Kurdish question by peaceful means since that would be in accordance with the interests of the people of the region.
