Turkey pushes Kurdish youth into drug addiction

NORTH KURDSTAN, — Cultural disintegration of the Kurds has been one of the most lethal methods applied by Turkish government to decimate the Kurdish people in North Kurdistan.

Kurdish people do strongly believe that the increasing spread of the drug among the Kurdish youth is distributed by Turkish government.

The numbers of drug dealers are increasing in the Kurdish cities and they do carry out their jobs with no impediment for the Turkish officials.

According to the statist the age of drug addict has dropped to the age of 7 and the Turkish officials not only do nothing to prevent that, but indeed they encourage it.

Turkish Police indifference toward the drug dealers have shocked the local people.

According to the reports only in the area of Baghlar of Diyarbakir there are over 100 houses where the youths go for sniffing, injecting and smoking drugs.

In some of the Kurdish cities, place have been reported where the drug are planted and distributed by agents with close ties with the Turkish police.

Spreading the drug addiction is seen by the Turkish government as the best way to undermine and disintegrate Kurdish community. The Kurdish youths who are drug addict is obedient to the Turkish state.
