Germany deports a Kurdish girl for a slogan

German_flagGERMANY, — German government wants to deport an 18 year old Kurdish girl to Turkey for taking part in a peaceful demonstration and chanting a slogan of “long live Ocalan”, referring to imprisoned Kurdish leader, report said on Saturday.

An 18 year-old Kurdish girl, who joined a demonstration when she was 13 and chanted slogan of “Biji Serok Apo – Long live our leader Apo”, is seen as “dangerous” for Germany.

The young girl, who has been subjected to an intensive investigation at a police office, is now facing the danger of being deported.

Leyla has been living in Nürnberg of Germany with her family for the last few years. She is considered as guilty of chanting “Biji Serok Apo” slogan at a demonstration when she was only 13.

Leyla is facing a danger of deportation to Turkey, a country that has imprisoned more than 2.600 Kurdish children under the charge of terrorism.

Freedom of expression is one of the most fundamental pillars of democracy that German government is violating to appease Turkish authorities, her long ally.
