Kurdish parliamentarians of South visited KCK in Qendil

GerilaQENDIL, Kurdistan, — A Kurdish delegate from Southern Kurdistan attended Qendil Mountains, the Defence Regions of Medya, meeting with the Executive Council of Kurdistan Democratic Confederation (KCK).

The intention behind the visit is reported to be formation of national unity and creating Kurdish National Congress.

A delegation of 8 Kurdish politicians including chair of the Kurdistan Parliamentarians Union Nimet Abdullah Pirdavut and vice chair Kerim Bahri Bradost met with the head of the Executive Council of KCK Murat Karayilan, and member of the Executive Council Bozan Tekin.

It is reported that the issues of Kurdish national unity was discussed during the visit and preparation for the creation of the Kurdish National Congress was negotiated. Changing balances in the world, the reality of the Kurds and needs for mutual approaches were also in the agenda.

It was reported that another meeting has already taken place between the union and the KCK. “More visits are expected to take place within the framework of the upcoming national congress”, the report said.

It should be pointed that the KCK’s unilateral ceasefire will be ended on 31 October.
