DERSIM, Northern Kurdistan, — Turkish military operations have become common routines in Kurdistan. According to Firat News Agency two Turkish soldiers were killed in a clash with the Kurdish guerrillas.
Turkish Army keeps its offensive operations in Kurdistan while the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) extended its unilateral ceasefire for another month.
PKK declared a ceasefire on August 13 and extended it for two times lately. Turkish army ignores the ceasefire and continues its operations against the Kurdish guerrillas.
Accordingly the fighting broke out as Turkish army conducted an operation against the Kurdish guerrillas in Ovacik, a district of Dersim province. Two Turkish soldiers were killed and another wounded.
