BAGHDAD, Iraq–Delegation from North Kurdistan will meet Iraqi president Jalal Talabani in Baghdad to discuss the terms of purported Kurdish National Conference.
Organizing a Kurdish national conference has been one of the major political agendas of Kurdish political powers for over three years. Representatives from the Democratic Society Congress (DTK) will meet Talabani in Baghdad to discuss the terms and rules of the purported Kurdish National Conference.
DTK co-president Aysel Tugluk said they are planning to establish a working group with the participation of all Kurdish groups from all over Kurdistan.
A DTK envoy met with president of Federal Kurdish Government Massoud Barzani last month for the same purpose, and it is supposed that they will meet former Prime Minister of Federal Kurdistan government Nichervan Barzani.
