QENDIL MOUNTAINS, Kurdistan, — the families of guerrillas in Eastern Kurdistan are under intense pressure of Iranian authorities and have been obliged to leave their homeland.
Accordingly, many of them are homeless and have taken refuge to the foots of Qendil Mountains in south of Kurdistan. However, they have not access to any facilities such as hospitals and schools.
Their children are deprived from the very basic needs and cannot attend schools; many of these children suffer from serious illnesses due to unavailability of hygienic equipments and facilities.
These patriot homeless Kurds have asked the European Union and amongst them from France to help them; however, they have been told that the EU cannot help them as many European countries have helped people who were with the Iranian current opposition part (Green Movement) and are not able to help Kurds from Iran.
