VAN, Northern Kurdistan, — According to local news reporters from Northern Kurdistan at least one Turkish soldier was killed and another injured in a blast took place in Gurpinar district of Van last night where the Turkish army have been continuously conducting military operations against the Kurdish guerrillas.
While the officials have claimed that a land mine caused the blast, the Kurdish Resistance Movement has not made a statement regarding the incident yet.
